 Fully Restored Tessa T21 Swivel Armchairs

(Final stages – Mareeba Bark upholstery)

One of the most coveted Australian mid-century designs — the iconic Tessa Swivel Armchairs, fully restored and ready for their next chapter.

Solid wood frame, smooth 360° swivel action, and that legendary Tessa comfort that still sets the standard decades later. These are genuine vintage pieces that have been meticulously brought back to life and are now receiving their final fabric in a gorgeous Mareeba Bark.

A matching footstool is also available — get in touch if you’re keen to secure it alongside the chairs. Only one available, and it can also be purchased on its own. These footstools are becoming extremely hard to source (just before Tessa closed they retailed for over $1,000, and most customers bought the chairs without the footstool or only one per suite). Over the years we’ve only ever come across three others!

When Tessa was still operating, the T21s retailed new for approximately $4,400. Today you can own a meticulously restored example for a fraction of that original price.

Condition

Fully restored and presented in excellent condition. Swivel action is smooth and precise. Frames have been carefully restored to their best. Currently in final stages of upholstery in Mareeba Bark.
