An enduring favourite of Australian mid-century design, the highly coveted Parker Nordic “Cats Eye” sideboard remains one of the most sought-after pieces by collectors and lovers of refined 1960s form. This long, elegant example features the brand’s signature recessed cats-eye handles, three cupboard doors balanced by a vertical bank of four drawers, and the classic tapered-leg base that gives it such a light, floating presence.

Crafted in warm teak with beautiful grain, solid timber legs and those distinctive cats-eye pulls, this is pure Parker at its best — practical, refined and instantly recognisable. The drawers feature classic dovetail construction and soft blue felt liners, while the cupboards offer generous storage. Timeless and versatile, it is equally at home as a statement dining sideboard, media unit or entryway piece.

Presents in good vintage condition with only the expected minimal wear and tear for its age. The piece has been deep cleaned and polished in our workshop, with the top partially restored and finished in multiple coats of Danish oil. A small burn mark remains visible on the top surface (shown with coin for scale) as it has not undergone a full restoration — preserving the honest character and patina that collectors love. Super rare and increasingly hard to find in this configuration and condition.
