Tessa T8 Lounge Suite by Fred Lowen – a highly collectible 1970s icon designed by legendary Australian designer Fred Lowen for Tessa Furniture. This complete mid-century modern set includes a modular two-seater sofa and a matching pair of armchairs. Featuring sculptural curved bentwood timber frames and deep button-tufted seats, backs, and headrests upholstered in rich warm cognac/brown leather.

The T8 range is celebrated for its Scandinavian-inspired organic curves, exceptional comfort, innovative construction, and modular flexibility. These pieces perfectly combine lightness with robust Australian craftsmanship — ideal for contemporary, retro, or eclectic living rooms. 

Condition: In good vintage condition with supple leather showing a beautiful natural patina, creasing, and wear consistent with age and use. No major tears or structural issues. Two cushions have some wear on the underside (does not affect use or appearance). Timber frames are solid with lovely grain and authentic signs of age. The set has been well cared for, regularly conditioned, and includes the original Tessa cushions.

One arm has a previous resin repair (not done by us). The whole set has had new Velcro attachments fitted to the top of the cushions for extra strength and convenience.
