Dyrlund “Flip-Flap” Dining Table – Brazilian Rosewood – Ultra Rare (Revive)

This is the iconic Dyrlund Flip-Flap synchronised extending dining table in exquisite Brazilian rosewood – one of the most sought-after and seldom-seen Danish designs ever made. Crafted in Denmark in the 1960s, the ingenious “Flip-Flap” mechanism lets both self-storing leaves unfold perfectly in sync with a single effortless pull – transforming the table from a compact 120 cm round to a generous 175 cm oval that comfortably seats 6–8 people.

Condition: Very good original vintage condition with signs of professional refurbishment in the past (pre-2010). Rich, warm rosewood patina throughout. A subtle darker patch is present in the centre of the top where something has sat for many years – faint, even and unobtrusive, it simply adds to the table’s authentic character. Otherwise only minor light surface marks consistent with gentle use; no damage, no deep scratches, mechanism operates perfectly.
